7 Days - Off the Beaten Track to the Treasures of Egypt

Treasures of Egypt tour will give you the chance to explore Egypt in-depth while taking unique different routes. Only in 7 days, travel the length of Egypt, start and end in Cairo! Begin by spending time at the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza – the only existing wonder of the Seven Wonders of the World and tour the capital of Egypt. Then, take a drive to many destinations in Egypt, namely  Alexandria ,  Fayoum Desert Safari Trip

Day 1- Arrival in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo Airport where you will meet and be assisted by our representative. Then, get transfered to your hotel and enjoy dinner.Overnight at the hotel in Cairo.

Day 2- Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Saqqara, Step Pyramid of King Zoser.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning before starting your pyramid tour where you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, Valley Temple and the Sphinx. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. Not far away lies the Necropolis of Saqqara where the ruins of the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the first Pyramid ever built, stands.
Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3- Trip to Alexandria Mediterranean Sea

Your Egyptology Tour guide  will pick you up from your hotel for a sightseeing tour of Alexandria. First visit Pompay's Pillar. It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you drive to visit the Catacombswhich are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, and then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs ( Light House ) of Alexandria then to Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Finally you will drive back to your hotel .

Day 4 -Sightseeing in Cairo City Tour

You will explore Cairo, the city of a thousand minarets, by starting the tour by enjoy a visit to the most interesting museum, the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Then proceed to visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque  inside the  Citadel of Salah El Din . Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Continue driving to the area of Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Then we move on to Coptic Cairo to visit  the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga. Later you will be transferred Back to your hotel.
